Fumiko Oikawa is a senior partner at Atsumi & Sakai with over 20 years of experience advising on finance, financial regulation, international trade and general corporate matters. Her food and regulatory practice includes advising international companies and governmental bodies on Japanese food labeling, food containers and packaging, sanitary and phytosanitary (SPS) measures, geographical indications, and market access under the EU–Japan EPA. She co-heads the firm’s Financial Regulation Team and International Trade Team, and her international trade practice also covers anti-dumping, export controls, sanctions and customs matters. She is a member of the Japan Association of International Economic Law
